Modou Barrow has been handed a long-term deal at Swansea City.

Barrow has signed a new four-year deal to keep him at the club until 2018.

He said: "It is nice to sign a new contract. I have come to a good club. Everybody has been nice to me and I feel like I am at home.

"I am really pleased with how things are going. I'm happy to get chances from the gaffer and also to get the confidence of my teammates. It's been a good experience for me here. I am just going to keep on working hard in practice and keep on learning every day. I am looking to keep going forward. The manager has just told me to keep working hard and to learn from my teammates.

"My aim now is to stay at Swansea and to keep getting better."
