MK Dons are set to land Tottenham winger David Bentley on-loan.

The People says Tottenham will send Bentley out on loan to ambitious MK Dons - once the former England hope is fully fit.

Spurs have been approached about ball playing midfielder Bentley by the League One outfit. who captured another former international in Alan Smith last week.

Bentley could be cleared for the switch shortly, with the player possibly ready to take on the move as he lives close to the area and may need a short spell to get his game going again.
