Millwall striker Steve Morison is confident that QPR defender Dan Shittu will rebound from his poor performance in last night's Championship fixture.
The former Bolton man was at the forefront of Rangers' 2-0 loss at The Den, giving room to Welsham Morison for the first goal before bringing down his former teammate in the area for a penalty and receiving a red card in the process. He also copped plenty of flack from the Millwall fans.
Shittu spent some time with the Lions earlier this season and Morison knows that the Nigerian is good enough to put that showing behind him.
"He just didn't look right," said Morison. "I know him well and have played against him. You know there's no point picking a fight with him because you'll lose.
"You've got to try to move him and run him around. That's what we did and it worked for us.
"Our fans gave it to everybody. It's not just Danny Shittu who gets it. You could be at this club for a few years and leave and you'll get stick when you come back.
"Dan will move on."
