Millwall offer new contract to Wright

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed that the club has offered a new contract to midfielder Josh Wright.

The 22-year old has been impressive since joining the Lions as a free agent in November with the London club keen to keep him on after they get their final two Championship matches out of the way.

"The first thing is that we have to finish off our season and while all of these questions are coming up, the most important thing for me at the moment is Ipswich and Blackpool," Jackett told News Shopper.

"But has Josh been offered a contract? The answer is yes.

"He has brought a little bit of composure on the ball in midfield since he came in."
