Diego Milito hopes the winter recess doesn't break up Inter Milan's successful turnaround.
The Nerazzurri had a very problematic start to the season, but ended the year strongly by winning six of their last seven Serie A games.
"We're pleased, especially with the wins we got at the end which enabled us to round off 2011 in the best way possible," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"We're happy, but we have to keep pedalling hard," he continued. "We hope that 2012 will be even better.
"The important thing now is getting the New Year off on the right foot. We have lots of games to play, but we're also full of confidence."
