New Wolves signing Nenad Milijas has revealed he was convinced about moving to Molineux by Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic.
"I've played with Nemanja in the Serbian national team and we are very good friends," said midfielder Milijas.
"He is a great guy and such an important player for Serbia.
"I know how he is thought of in England and it's good for Serbia to have a player like that here. I spoke with him before agreeing to move and he just told me to come."
Milijas, who left Red Star Belgrade after being given permission to speak to Mick McCarthy, added: "Nemanja said everything is great for football here and he told me just come and see and after that you will stay.
"Playing against teams like Manchester United and Chelsea will be good for me and hopefully we can do well against them now."
