UEFA have confirmed that the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza San Siro will host the 2016 Champions League final.
The home of Serie A clubs Inter Milan and AC Milan has been chosen as the host venue for next season's May 28 final of Europe's premier club competition, 15 years after it last did so.
The San Siro was the host venue of the 2000/01 decider between Bayern Munich and Valencia, which saw the German giants prevail on penalties, and the 2016 edition will be the fourth time in total that UEFA will stage the CL final there.
In addition, UEFA have also announced the St Jakob Park in Basel, Switzerland will play host to the 2016 Europa League final on May 18.
The 2014/15 Champions League final will take place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany while this season's Europa League final will be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.
