Italian giants AC Milan are believed to be prepared to swap Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

The duo have already been linked with a potential trade that involved Spurs winger Gareth Bale but it now aeems that the Rossoneri are keen to make a move to change up their underperforming squad.

The fact that Dutchman Huntelaar has made little or no impact at the San Siro and Russian Pavlyuchenko has not yet started under Harry Redknapp this season indicates that a deal is definitely on the cards.

A major factor holding back the swap is the fact that Huntelaar has already failed to agree wages with Tottenham when they tried to sign him in the summer.
