Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet insists that he wants to play every game for the Reds.
The Belgian, who lost his place to Loris Karius for a brief period in the first half of the season, produced a commanding display in the 1-1 draw at Manchester United on Sunday.
However, Karius still remains manager Jurgen Klopp's preference in the cup games and is likely to be restored in goals for Wednesday night's FA Cup third-round replay at Plymouth Argyle.
Mignolet acknowledges the competition but insists that he is still keen to play at every opportunity.
"Actually I feel like I am playing a good season," he said.
"The strange thing is that I have been out of the team for a while but I feel I am in a good moment.
"I just try to do my job, stay calm and will try to do the same things the next time I play.
"I am happy with my own performance but that is not really important.
"Of course I want to play every game but at a club like Liverpool it is normal there is going to be competition for every single place. There is only one keeper who can play."
