Mido could be handed Middlesbrough playing deal

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is weighing up offering terms to Mido.

Mowbray has opened the door for Mido to play for the club again after the Egyptian returned there to train.

The 27-year-old has just left Ajax after scoring four goals in 11 games.

Mowbray said: "It's best to say he's here training, I'll assess him and he'll assess us."

Ajax insiders have told tribalfootball.com new coach Frank de Boer was upset by the Egyptian's decision to quit the Dutch club, insisting he could have played a role for them this season.
