Mikel Arteta is confident that Arsenal's deep midfield can provide plenty going into the business end of the Premier League season.
The Gunners, currently sitting second behind Chelsea, have the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Flamini, Arteta and the returning Aaron Ramsey as midfield options and the Spaniard suggests that could help greatly with the premiership title race.
"It helps the team because we can rotate players and we can play differently," Arteta said on Arsenal Player.
"We can play with two [in midfield] and it gives us another option.
"No-one has been able to play every game this season. I think the league is getting more demanding, you need a big squad, you can't afford to have only 11 players."
The Gunners, who are a point in arrears of the Blues, next take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday, March 1.
