In a major blow for the club, Middlesbrough's Jeremie Aliadiere looks set to be sidelined for up to eight weeks with ankle ligament damage.
The Frenchman was injured in 'Boro's FA Cup tie with Barrow and the news of ligament damage is news to boss Gareth Southgate's ears because it could have been worse.
"Immediately after the game we were upbeat because there was no break, but unfortunately he's going to be missing for a while," Southgate told the club's official website.
