Promoted Middlesbrough have released Jonathan Woodgate.
Woodgate will leave the club this summer along with fellow defenders Rhys Williams and Damia Abella.
Woodgate has made 112 appearances for his home-town club but will not be offered a new contract after enduring an injury-hit season. The former Leeds and Real Madrid defender played only one match during the 2015/16 campaign - the Capital One Cup win at Burton in August - and struggled with several injuries throughout the season.
While it had already been announced Williams is set to return to Australia to join Perth Glory, Damia will also be departing the Riverside.
