The race for Gent striker Laurent Depoitre is heating up in England.

The Daily Mail says Middlesbrough have joined the queue of clubs watching Depoitre.

The 27-year-old Belgium international has just a year left on contract but is valued at £12million by his club.

Depoitre has scored 14 goals this season and got one for his country on his international debut against Andorra.

He has been followed by the likes of Tottenham, Leicester, Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion in recent months.
