Middlesbrough eyeing Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite

Middlesbrough are eyeing Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

Boro want to take Branthwaite for a loan move this summer.

The Championship club are 'resigned' to losing Djed Spence and are set to pocket £15m, which will kick-start their summer transfer plans.

Taylor claims Branthwaite could be a target this window.

Daily Express reporter Ryan Taylorsaid on Youtube: “Boro are resigned to losing Spence, but they need that money through the door to fund their promotion push, there's a few targets on the agenda, not least a striker, Dwight Gayle is a player they've looked at. Coventry's Viktor Gyokeres is a player they've also targeted, Ellis Simms is under consideration as well, while Jarrad Branthwaite, the Everton centre-back, is a player they'd like to take on loan as well."
