Middlesbrough boss Karanka cops FA improper conduct charge

Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following an incident at the end of their 1-1 Championship draw with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Karanka was frustrated that Rudy Gestede's equaliser was allowed to stand after what he believed was a foul on keeper Dimi Konstantopoulos.

Referee Mark Clattenburg sent the Spaniard off for his complaints.
