Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been informed David de Gea is open to a move to the European champions this summer.
Jorge Mendes, the agent of Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea, was in Madrid on Tuesday to meet with Florentino.
The discussions were centred upon the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, however De Gea's situation was also mentioned. Mendes made it clear to Florentino that the Spanish keeper was ready to return to Madrid this summer.
Florentino welcomed the news, but informed Mendes that nothing could be decided before Zinedine Zidane's replacement was found. The president would also prefer to find a buyer for Keylor Navas before he welcomes De Gea.
Indeed, it was made clear if the new coach wanted to keep hold of Keylor, then he would be supported by the Real board.
