Melbourne Victory boss Muscat linked with Rangers job

Kevin Muscat is the latest name to be linked with the managerial vacancy at Rangers.

According to the The Sun, the Melbourne Victory head coach is being mentioned as a 'possible candidate' for the Ibrox job.

Mark Warburton shock 'Gets by quitting last week and the Glasgow giants are on the hunt for a swift replacement as they strive to get things back on track.

The 43-year-old former Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Millwall and Victory defender has been head coach at the Victory since 2013 and has guided the Melbourne powerhouse to the 2014/15 Premiership/Championship double, as well as the 2015 FFA Cup.

Australian legend Muscat spent the 2002/03 season with Rangers, helping them win the treble under Alex McLeish.
