Raul Meireles is chasing a new contract at Liverpool.
The Daily Mail says Meireles is hopeful Liverpool's owners will reward his excellent first season with a new improved contract.
The Portugal international joined Liverpool on a four-year deal last summer from FC Porto but did not receive lucrative terms.
The midfielder has been outstanding for the Reds for much of this season.
