Sacked Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is determined to bounce straight back into football.
Megson, 50, faced a vicious fans' campaign to get rid of him during his 26-month Reebok reign.
But he said: "Despite all the supporters' stick I've been delighted that people who know football seem to say it's gone OK since I've been there.
"I still want to work in football. I'm bitterly disappointed but I do not think the decision is unfair - they've made it in the best interests of the club.
"Ten clubs are in a battle at the bottom of the table but the other nine aren't having to operate under the same conditions and circumstances we are.
"People have to make their decisions. You stand or fall by those decisions - but I hope that Bolton can stay up."
