Megson confident keeping his Bolton players from Allardyce's Blackburn

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is confident none of his players will be tempted to join Sam Allardyce at Blackburn Rovers.

Megson said: "We have some good players here but I wouldn't just expect Sam to be interested in them, I'd expect a lot of clubs to be interested, as has happened in the past.

"If that happens we will have to deal with it but all it is an ex-Bolton manager is now working just up the road - it doesn't make any difference to us really.

"Everyone at our football club is perfectly aware of what he did for them but that has now finished.

"He may fancy one or two players here because he has known them in the past but we are not going to turn around and say no-one is definitely going because it may be something that suits us.

"But we are also not going to say we will get rid of everyone and have a fire sale and all the Bolton players go up to Blackburn."
