Former England boss Steve McLaren has been replaced by Michel Preud'homme at Dutch club FC Twente.

McLaren left the Eredivisie champions for German club Wolfsburg following the recently completed season and now Twente are set to finalise the deal subject to an agreement with Belgian club AA Gentp> "If his current club AA Gent and FC Twente reach agreement, Michel Preud'homme will be the new coach of FC Twente," read a statement on Twente's official website.

"Michel Preud'homme and FC Twente have agreed a contract for the next three seasons."
