James McFadden has no regrets swapping Everton for Birmingham City's relegation battle this season.

"I know I've made the right choice, I've got no regrets at all," he said. "The whole package has been the best move that I could have picked.

"Obviously it's a battle and it's going to be hard, but if we play the way we have been recently then I'm confident we've got a great chance of staying up.

"I know that I can play a part in that. My football education through playing in Scotland has been to always work hard.

"Even if I'm having a bad game I give it my all."
