McCoist to return to Rangers full of enthusiasm

Ally McCoist admits he is still unsure of the situation at Rangers but he does know that he will soon be back at pre-season training in full flight.

The 'Gers boss is currently on holidays so is unaware of the latest at Ibrox but one thing he is positive about is returning to the training pitch and getting on with the part of the job he loves.

"I am intrigued by what is going to happen. I honestly don't know how it is all going to pan out but one thing I do know is that when we return for training I will be throwing myself into it enthusiastically," he told Record Sport.

"I can't wait to get in among the players again in pre-season. It's the best part of the job, being out there with them."

McCoist also admitted that he does not know if he is allowed to sign players following confusion regarding a transfer embargo which has since gone to court.

"Look, it is worrying. I won't lie. I have huge concerns about what is going to happen," he added.

"I don't know who will still be there by the time we go back. Some of the lads might have moved on.

"I don't know if I will be able to sign anyone because the situation with the transfer embargo is still up in the air."
