Gareth McAuley says West Brom players are right behind teammate Saido Berahino.
The £20m-rated star admitted on Sunday that he has been depressed by the way his career has gone into meltdown.
“Saido is a good kid," said the defender. “Deep down he could tell he wasn't right and wasn't focused for a while.
“He just didn't look as confident in himself and the last thing we want is for Saido to not get back from that.
“For me I would love to see him fulfil his career and playing and start scoring goals again and see where he ends up after that."
McAuley added: “He is one of the best finishers I have seen – his striking of a ball is so crisp. He doesn't need a backlift or anything.
“He has probably lost his way a little bit which is disappointing for him and disappointing for us as well but it seems as if he is starting to get his head right. That can only be good for everyone.
“He knows himself that he needs to get fit and he needs to get back scoring goals."
