West Brom defender Gareth McAuley admits they're seeking a goalscoring boost from new signing Salomon Rondon.

Tony Pulis' side are yet to score this season and were lucky to take a point from Watford at Vicarage Road on the weekend.

McAuley stated, "I think it gave everyone a lift when Salomon came on.

"It is a statement from the club to pay a lot of money for a striker.

"We know we have to play better, be braver on the ball. He has only been in a few days, hopefully he beds in quickly and scores goals."
