Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur insists they're capable of scrapping their way out of trouble.

Scotland midfielder McArthur believes Roberto Martinez's side can dig in and fight when needed.

He said: "We're a great footballing side - we like to play it on the ground.

"But that doesn't mean we can't mix it up as well when we need to, put our foot in and be tough.

"It's about working really hard for each other and being up for the fight."
