Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo highlighted their spirit after drawing 3-3 at Aston Villa.

Mbeumo scored on the day.

He later said: “We didn't play great in the first half and the start of the second, but everybody showed great character to come back.

“We have some points we need to work on. We know it's a really tough place to play, they have a good team with good players, but the togetherness we have in the team is big."

On his goal, Mbeumo said: “It was just instinct.

“I saw [Sergio Reguilón] on the side and I tried to position myself as best as possible in the box to score. He's a player with a lot of quality and experience."
