Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Bologna.
Jonathan popped up with an equaliser for Inter in the second-half.
"We created even more chances than usual. It looked like the goal was cursed and in these situations you can even lose," Mazzarri told Sky Sport Italia.
"We had a series of naive errors on Bologna's goal and it made the game an uphill struggle. We missed the seemingly impossible, but that is football and if you don't take your chances then you don't win.
"Jonathan is playing very well, we worked with him, gave him a sense of confidence and certainty within the organisation of the team.
"Yuto Nagatomo felt a tug in his calf, but tomorrow we'll know more."
