Bayern Munich great Lothar Matthaus has questioned how the club can pay this summer's spending spree.
Matthaus is surprised by Bayern's market work, with Sadio Mane arriving from Liverpool and Matthijs de Ligt potentially from Juventus.
He told BILD: “I wonder where so much money is coming from all of a sudden.
"Until recently, it was said that there had been less television revenue due to the pandemic. That is why no agreement was reached to renew with (Robert) Lewandowski and the situation of (Serge) Gnabry remains unclear
"Then comes (Sadio) Mané for 41 million euros, (Konrad) Laimer must come for 20 or 30 million and (Mathjis) De Light for 60, 70 or even 80 million."
