Matt Taylor not short of offers after Burnley release

Matt Taylor isn't short of offers after being released by Burnley.

The Mail on Sunday says Taylor is courting interest from several Championship sides after being released by Burnley.

The 34-year-old played 28 games in Burnley's Championship winning season but was allowed to go last week with goalkeeper Matt Gilks, winger Lloyd Dyer and youngsters Danijel Nizic and Jason Gilchrist.

Taylor has vast experience having played more than 600 career games.

The left-midfielder went onto play for Bolton and West Ham in the English top-flight before joining Burnley on their promotion to the Premier League in 2014.
