Inter Milan veteran Marco Materazzi denies a bust-up with new Manchester City signing Mario Balotelli. Balotelli is said to have clashed with Materazzi at the end of last season's Champions League first-leg victory over Barcelona.
However, Matrix was eager to point out there was no problem between him and the 20-year-old.
"Look at this iPad. This is the one Mario gave me as a gift in America," said Materazzi while waving his gadget at journalists.
It had an inscription that read: 'To my big brother, with affection.'
"Seeing as someone wrote that there were problems between us... If there were problems, he wouldn't have done such a thing.
"If before writing about the rapport between people, journalists got some better information, they'd make fewer gaffes.
"I also never said that Inter were weaker without Balotelli, but simply that Mario is strong and I'm happy he can go somewhere he feels good."
