Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal refused to overemphasise Juan Mata's performance in the 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.
Mata won and scored the penalty for the first goal and then provided an exquisite assist for Chris Smalling's 53rd-minute winner as the Red Devils came from behind to win at Old Trafford.
When asked about the Spaniard's performance, van Gaal was quick to play down the influence: "I don't speak about individual performances but I have seen Mata playing better than today.
"I can say as a manager he played very well and I agree with you - but I don't agree with you."
