Javier Mascherano will seek a move away from Liverpool at the end of the season.
The People says Mascherano will re-double his efforts to quit Liverpool next summer - but he doesn't believe Rafa Benitez should follow him through the Anfield exit door.
Sources close to the Argentinian revealed last night that he is set on a move to Barcelona or one of the Italian giants.
But he claims Benitez is doing a good job - and isn't the cold, detached boss he's made out to be.
Mascherano said: "You can't talk about changing the manager.
"I don't know who says Rafa is distant from his players. I have never seen Rafa far from the players.
"He is always talking with the players because he wants them to improve."
