Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano is backing fellow Argie Emiliano Insua to make an impact at Anfield this season.

"He is a very good young player and he is doing well," he told liverpoolfc.tv. "He is working hard and wants to do show people what he can do.

"When he has played for the first team he has always done well."
