Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez insists they can handle selling their star players.
Wigan once again lost key stars like Victor Moses and Hugo Rodallega over the summer and currently sit in the Premier League's bottom three.
However, Martinez believes injuries - and not players leaving - are to blame for the club's poor form.
He said: "What is affecting us far more in this period is that we've had injuries to seven or eight players.
"In every transfer market where we have lost players, we have replaced them and improved the side.
"Victor Moses is a very special player, but his departure has helped us reinvest and grow."
