Everton boss Roberto Martinez admits they're suffering a confidence crisis after defeat to Hull City.
The Blues suffered a fourth successive defeat after goals from Ahmed Elmohamady and Nikica Jelavic at the KC Stadium.
"I felt we were trying to find some momentum in the game, but it was then disappointing to concede a simple goal from a cross into the box," Martinez said post-match. "It affected us too much - I thought the confidence dropped and it became a difficult game from that point on.
"In the second half, I thought we showed spirit without having that confidence that you need in your play but we had enough chances to score a goal.
"That was the key - scoring the next goal to allow us to have a say in the game and we had enough opportunities to do that.
"But, again, there was a lack of confidence, belief, and luck. There is a feeling of not getting the breaks that we need and it is costing us too dearly."
