Didier Deschamps has praised Anthony Martial for his promising start to life at Manchester United.
The 19-year-old has scored four goals in his opening seven outings for the Red Devils after arriving from AS Monaco for £36million in the summer.
There was plenty of talk surrounding the talented forward that perhaps he was a gamble at such massive odds but France national team boss Deschamps highlights his blistering beginning as vindication for his hefty price tag.
"With all the racket that there was before and after his arrival, many have realised that he has the quality," Deschamps said.
"His start to the season, his effectiveness, these are all good signs. It's good that he has taken the bull by the horns."
Martial is away with the French team as they prepare for friendlies with Armenia and Denmark this week and next.
