Marseille go for Man City pair Samir Nasri and Bacary Sagna

Marseille are planning a double raid on Manchester City.

The Daily Star says they want City pair Samir Nasri and Bacary Sagna.

Marseille have had a cash injection after being bought by American businessman Frank McCourt, former owner of the LA Dodgers baseball team.

Midfielder Nasri, 29, is on loan in Spain with Sevilla and they claim that they have been offered him permanently for £16m.

Right-back Sagna, 33, will be out of contract at The Etihad at the end of the season. Nasri, meanwhile, is likely to seek a substantial pay-off from City as he still has two years remaining on his £140k-a-week deal.
