Nicolas N'Koulou says his focus remains with current club Marseille, despite rumours of interest from Premier League giants Chelsea.

The Daily Star is reporting Blues boss Jose Mourinho has identified the 25-year-old as a target for the January transfer window and is willing to spend £7million to secure his services.

N'Koulou was non-committal when asked about his future recently, saying he is focused on continuing to play well for Marseille.

"I cannot speak about the future, we have only played about ten matches," N'Koulou said.

"I cannot think about it whilst I am on the pitch, whilst I am wearing this shirt. It is not necessarily easy, but this situation has happened.

"I cannot speak about it for the moment, due to the situation of my team. Extending? Everything is possible. The representatives have not spoken to me."
