Olympique Marseille chief Jose Anigo says the Premier League only attracts Ligue 1 players because of their spending power.

Anigo cannot understand why Stephane Sessegnon swapped PSG for Sunderland.

"The finances dominate in England, not the sport," barked Anigo to AFP.

"I see boys of 20, who have not made it in France, joining English clubs. Someone like Stephane Sessegnon joined Sunderland, although the level of Paris Saint-Germain is better."
