Marseille and Sevilla enter race for Watford forward Okaka

Marseille and Sevilla are keeping a close eye on Watford forward Stefano Okaka.

The Italian forward signed a five-year deal with the Hornets after his move from Anderlecht last summer.

In his 18 Premier League appearances, the former Sampdoria man managed four goals.

Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua wanted the Italy international in June, but Watford boss Marco Silva decided he wanted to assess Okaka before letting him leave.

After scoring in the Hornets 3-3 opening day draw with Liverpool, Okaka has not appeared in the last two matches and was left out of the squad entirely for Saturday's goalless draw with Brighton.

And now, according to the Sun, it looks as though Marseille and Sevilla are ready to battle it out for the 28-year-old.
