The agent of PSG defender Marquinhos is in contact with Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News says Marquinhos' agent Giuliano Bertolucci is believed to have touched base with Jose Mourinho to gauge whether United would be open to signing the Brazilian.
Bertolucci's past efforts to hawk Marquinhos around European clubs drew criticism from PSG captain Thiago Silva.
It is understood United's head of corporate development Matthew Judge, who assists Ed Woodward in transfer negotiations, enquired about Marquinhos, 24, last year but the contact merely resulted in the centre half signing a new contract.
