Juventus GM Beppe Marotta insists they were never in for Mario Balotelli over the summer.
Juve were linked with the Liverpool striker as it became apparent that AC Milan were willing to sell after the World Cup.
Asked about the rumours, however, Juve GM Beppe Marotta insisted: "Balotelli has never been our goal. We have never negotiated with him."
Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, also takes care of Juve midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Italian hasn't put a foot wrong at Liverpool since his £16 million move last month.
