Marotta admits he could have left Sampdoria for Juventus

Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta insists he is happy in Genoa.

Marotta has been linked with Juventus and AC Milan this season.

"It is true that last season I could have gone," he told Il Corriere della Sera. "During the summer I was in contact with the Old Lady's Board as they were set to offer me a job.

"But at the end I decided to stay in Genova because I am happy here.

"The same will happen again this summer because my future is at Doria.

"The Garrone family is happy with my work and at Samp I feel fully satisfied."
