Marko Arnautovic is delighted with his move to Bologna.

The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Rossoblu, arriving from Shanghai SIPG.

“First of all, I want to thank the club, in particular [Claudio] Fenucci and [Walter] Sabatini, as well as the people who made this transfer possible," Arnautovic said at a press conference.

“The first contacts took place six months ago and after these months I'm finally here. Bologna gave me back the desire to play football.

“We also spoke with the coach, and they immediately showed me their desire to get me. I'm very happy to be here."

He added: “The match against Liverpool [on Thursday] is too early.

“I only had one training session with the team and I still have to work to reach the same conditions and be ready for the Coppa Italia match."
