Mark Davies: No hesitation accepting Bolton offer

Mark Davies is delighted with his move to Bolton Wanderers.

The young midfielder, who joined from Wolves this week, said: "I'm happy to be here and I feel like I'm living the dream by playing first team football with a Premier League club.

"I enjoyed my two-month spell with Leicester and I couldn't have asked for much more, but when my agent phoned me and said that Bolton were interested and if I would consider it, I said 'yes' without any hesitation.

"I know quite a lot about the assistant manager Chris Evans because he was at Wolves when I was, and he has persuaded me that this is the place to be. He has outlined the club's ambitions and aims for the future, so I'm looking forward to working with him and Gary Megson.

"Today has been about passing my medical, meeting the staff and the players and I couldn't be happier with the way everything has gone - I'm over the moon to have signed for this club for the next four-and-a-half years.

"I'm very impressed with the training ground, the stadium and I believe that this club is going to get bigger over the course of the next four years. I know Fabrice Muamba very well from playing in the England team with him for three years and he has told me about the togetherness with all the players.

"Hopefully the Bolton fans will recognise me as an exciting player, who can get them on their feet."
