NK Maribor manager Ante Simundza believes Chelsea are a genuine threat in this season's UEFA Champions League.
Jose Mourinho's Blues demolished the Slovenians 6-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night which prompted Simundza to suggest they are a chance of adding a second Champions League title to their trophy cabinet.
"It was obvious that this was a team that is a serious candidate to win the title in this year's Champions League," said the Maribor boss.
"Quality of the players was out of reach for us. Chelsea were just the better team and deserved to win all three points.
"We conceded three goals from counter attacks and we might have been a little bit naive.
"Regardless of Chelsea being a good team, they had an exceptional day today."
