Enzo Maresca has announced he's leaving Sampdoria.
The midfielder arrived last summer from Malaga, but managed only three goals in 16 games for the Blucerchiati.
"In January, not being part of the club's plans, I was put on the transfer market," wrote Maresca on Twitter.
"As I had already played for Malaga this season, I could not complete another move. In the following six months I believe I behaved like a professional, giving 100 per cent every day and trying to help the younger players.
"I will probably leave Samp this summer, but I wanted to thank my teammates, the Garrone family, those who wanted me at Samp and all the fans for the affection they showed me."
