Former AS Roma striker Marco Borriello is delighted with his move to Genoa.

The striker had his best Serie A season at Marassi in 2007-08, scoring 19 goals in 35 appearances, but has since been unsettled at Milan, Roma and Juventus.

"It was a decision I made with my heart and I'm very happy," he told Sky Sport Italia after moving for an undisclosed fee.

"Now I am focused only on passing my medical and going into the first training session."
